Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

R. v. M.M., YORK:

The accused, M.M. was charged with six counts including unauthorized possession of firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm, firearm in motor vehicle, restricted firearm with ammunition, careless use of firearm, and impaired operation BAC 80 Plus. Counsel Jonathan Pyzer represented M.M. and was able to resolve the charges on plea to one count; occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm under S.94(1) CC. With the rest of the charges being withdrawn, Jonathan Pyzer successfully secured a conditional sentence order for the accused.
