The accused, E.C. was charged with harassment by repeated communication. The accused lost all their money while gambling with her husband, and insisted on having him pay them back. Later on, the accused turned herself in where she was placed under arrest, and held for a bail hearing. The accused was 6 months pregnant at the time of the arrest. Upon her arrest, she was removed from the family home and prohibited from communicating with her husband. Such an issue was the cause of great stress and concern given that she was about to deliver their child in three months.
