Uttering Threats

R. v. M.G.:

The accused, M.G. was charged with two counts of uttering threats contrary to section 264.1(1) (a) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused has threatened to attack his landlords if they don’t leave the property they’re renting to him. The accused was facing a set of very serious charges involving fraud, break and entry, and indictable offenses. However, counsel was able to have all of his charges withdrawn with no admission of guilt and no criminal record.
